- Theology of Ministry with Young People
I believe that youth and young adults are whole persons in the eyes of God — not less than or less important than adults. Their actions and activities are not “rehearsals” for adulthood — they have import and significance and standing. Therefore, youth and young adults need to be taken seriously. I also believe that to be faithful the church must be intergenerational. Where this is an appropriate time and place for age-specific programs and activities, I believe youth and young adults needs to be fully integrated into every aspect of church life.
- How will connecting with me support your ministry?
I have a heart for the church and a heart for helping young clergy develop. I have a great deal of substantive experience in a wide range of ministry areas. And much of my work at the Lewis Center involves making ideas, resources, and research accessible and apprehendible to people in different settings and ministry contexts.
